Mother’s Day 2018

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Mother’s Grandmother’s, Dog Mom’s and all of the Mother’s in between from the MAD DIVA AND MAD DIVA CONCIERGE!

I hope that all of you ate well, had really great beverages and received the most warm touching heart felt cards, flowers and gifts ever!

As some of you may or may not know, I lost my biological mother 6 years ago and it hasn’t been easy. I wasn’t really close with her and I hate that I didn’t build a better relationship before she turned into my angel.

I was raised by my great aunt who’s raised me since I was 3 months old so I’m very thankful and grateful to have her as my mother. I also gained another new mother but not under the circumstances I expected. I lost my long distance lover who I’ve known for 9 years and started a relationship with 9 months ago and ended up meeting my future mother in law the week before Mother’s Day. I won’t switch the subject on you but just say that I try to see the good in things and another blessing made these beautiful paper flowers you see below for him and her for Mother’s Day so the following week I returned to Detroit to deliver them the weekend of his homegoing services.

Life is so short and the craziest things can happen at the most unexpected moments so please if you don’t have a close relationship with your mother, it is so important to do so. Mother’s forgive your kids for the mistakes they’ve made. And children forgive your mother’s for the mistakes they’ve. You only get one Mother and younwpuld not want it to eat you up for the rest of your life if you ended up on bad terms.  I can say that my boyfriend and his mother were very close and that is something I will never be able to build with my mother. My great aunt is all I have and she has been the best mother to me that I can ask for.

I hope all of you enjoyed spending quality time with your mommies this year and remember it’s not about the gift but more so about the presence!

Here are some beautiful paper roses made into clip ons handmade for 20 special mother’s for Mother’s Day.

Thank you @PaperflowerQueen for making these beautiful roses for my mother for Mother’s Day. She loved them.

And for a mother to lose her son and spend her first Mother’s Day not even two weeks before has to be so difficult and a pain that I would never wish on anyone! Mother in Law, it was a pleasure to give you flowers that will never die just like our love for Dakari!

Beautiful words!! I had no idea you have overcome so much hurt in your life. Too many key people in your life that moved on to wherever we go after this life. But they will be waiting. I know that if I passed on, I wouldn’t take a single step into another life, untill my kids and my soul mate were with me. So best believe, they are waiting for you, watching over you, breathing love and encouragement into your life. So don’t ever stop chasing your dreams, and never let the hurt in life make change who you are. Your beautiful inside and out! ❤️

Thank you so much and I can definitely say in my 37 years I’ve definitrly dealt with a lot and been through a lot. I guess it is all what makes me who I am now. Growing pains of life and learning lessons in life. Sometimes it can be so much fun and at other times it can definitely be a drag!
