Communication Is Major Key

In business communication is so important. I find myself with major anxiety when communication is lost. I always say at the end of the day COMMUNICATE so NOBODY can NEVER say “YOU DIDN’T TELL ME!” Cover all basis and cover your buns! Be very transparent when it comes to busy. I’m not the type who likes to sugar coat things and I like mine straight up with no chaser! Time is valuable so I’m like just give me the quick short raw version and let’s get right to it! 

Here are some tips that can help you when it comes to efficiently communicating with others rather it’s in business or with personal relationships and matters: 

•Be comfortable and confident with voicing your perspective, even if it is not shared or popular. 

•Understand that there will be many other perspectives, some even that diametrically oppose yours. 

•Commit to being curious before you are critical so that you have clarity BEFORE your comeback.

•Respect the other parties in the discussion, see them through “golden eyes” instead of “judgement eyes”, yet be firm on your RECEIVING respect as well.

•Consider all of the feedback, positive and negative, and when possible ask meaningful questions to better understand how and why an individual thinks or feels a certain way about the topic.

•Inspect your own core belief system in how it relates to the feedback, and identify where or if there are areas that need to be fortified or stripped away.
