MAD Diva Does Hollywood Confidential with Tiffany Haddish
Can I just tell you all about one of my favorite nights? So every since I went to go see Girls Trip The Movie, I just fell in love with Tiffany Haddish’s personality and sense of humor. It’s like how could you not love her? She played the perfect part in that film and I can totally vouch for that after meeting her. I kept saying I don’t go crazy over too many people in the industry but I swear I was like I wanna meet Tiffany Haddish because she seems soooooo cool. I went to Jamie Foxx’s house the time before last and had just missed her and was so disappointed. I knew it would eventually happen and it did!
I had the pleasure of covering media for her Panel Discussion for Hollywood Confidential and it just so happens that I already knew her hair stylist, Precious Jackson. Good people attract good people because she’s another Rey of sunshine & good energy and God fearing! I had vended at her Pop Up Sip & Shop at her Beauty Salon a while back. And look at us here crossing paths again. The first thing I said to myself is, GOSH LYNIQUE IT PAYS TO KNOW PEOPLE IN YOUR CITY!! From then on out I felt comfy.
You see starting out especially here in Hollywood it can be very tricky. A lot of people act Hollywood, they don’t mess with you if they don’t know you and they tend to use you and spit you right back out. I had actually submitted to cover media and had inquired about doing so through Dunnie O. She I believe is the curator for the Hollywood Confidential Events. She asked me what media outlets was I inquiring about having covering and I dropped my outlet of course, which is #MADDivaMedia | @MADDivaMedia. She stopped replying to my direct messages and I simply told her that was fine if my outlet wasn’t approved and I had mentioned that nonetheless I still purchased a VIP Ticket to the event to support her. I say this to say, that even when I get “Hollywood Shuffled” on, I still don’t let that discourage me. I won’t post the screen shot of our chat and I won’t even draw out this situation but apparently God had something else in mind for me for this night and me not getting approved for this event for media didn’t stop my shine or movement. I make things happen and I am a very determined person. I will always find a loophole or pull a rabbit out of a hat to make it happen! And I did JUST THAT!
So I arrived to the red carpet a little late with my camera in hand. I then tried to take my place as Tiffany was already doing interviews. So one of the girl’s tell me, oh you have to go to the other side. This side of the carpet is for video and the other side is for photos. I’m saying to myself, ” Heffa how do you know I ain’t doing both?” So I simply moved to the other side and said let me not go “MAD DIVA” on her because I am here to get this footage and work on building my #MADDivaMedia Brand. So I proceeded with caution. LOL!
I then walked off with the rest of the media team. This is when I seen Precious, her hair stylist. When I tell you this night turned into a great night of connection! I was able to not only get my footage, but I was also able to custom blend Miss Tiffany Haddish some of my #MADDivaSangria with Peach Ciroc which I knew was her absolute FAVORITE!! She loved it of course and she definitely plans to connect with me again soon!

Now back to the event. When I tell you this girl is EVERYTHING!!! OMG the sweetest ever, so humble, so motivating and uplifting and whenever she takes photos she always says “SUCCESS” because that it what she is ALL ABOUT!! She mad every woman in that room feel of worth and of value. She made us laugh, she got us teary eyes and she gave us some game when she dropped all of her amazing jewels and gems for THANK YOU SO MUCH PRECIOUS for making the connection and I am so glad that I still decided to come and make an attempt to do my thing because it was worth every effort.
I promise to you I spoke into existence meeting Tiffany Haddish and it happened. This isn’t the first time I’ve done this. I might as well quote some of her lines since they are so appropriate for the moment:
“Energy Goes Where Attention Flows” – This is so true and this so happened for me!
“Don’t Ever Let Nobody In Your House That Ain’t Got Nothin’ To Lose”
and the last one that was my absolute FAVORITE one… She said there is a test you can do where you look into the mirror and look right into your pupils. She said that you say: “<Insert Your Full Name>, I Love You And Approve Of You”. She said if you start crying in the mirror then there are still some things you need to change and work on and that you aren’t sincere with your words. She said when you are able to say it, smile and feel good, then that is when you know, “SHE READY!!!!!!” She even told us her story of how she was once homeless. She is now pushing her new Tesla that Tyler Perry Blessed her with and she deserves every bit of her blessings! KEEP GOING TIFF, WE ALL LOVE YOU AND ARE ROOTING FOR YOU!!! Keep blessing these bitter Betty’s with even more happiness and speak happiness over their lives! WE LOVE YOUR PRAYERS!!!! LOL!
